COOKBOOK: Nimrod Hall is an artists’ and writers’ retreat in the mountains of Virginia where I spend some time painting
each year. I collaborated with another artist, Judith Anderson, to create a recipe book for Nimrod owner Frankie Apistolas.
As accompaniment to the recipes from Frankie’s Kitchen, we used paintings by a number of artists who had been guests at
Nimrod over the years. We also seasoned the book with some history of this unique retreat.
